Sarah Gile is a seasoned dance instructor with over a decade of experience in teaching and competition team management. She has spent ten years instructing various dance styles and has served as a Competition Director for four years. As a professional choreographer, Sarah has played a pivotal role in events like First Lights Dancing with the Stars of The Magic City, partnering with local celebrities to raise funds and awareness for First Lights Women and Children's Centers.
Sarah's career includes significant contributions at Calera Dance Academy, where she worked from 2018 to 2023. She began teaching tap and jazz, launched a musical theater program, and eventually became the Competition Director. Under her leadership, the competition program doubled in size, with several of her choreographed pieces earning top 10 placements and national qualifications. Her achievements are a testament to her dedication and passion for dance.
Before Calera, Sarah honed her skills at Dale Serrano Dance Studio from 2009 to 2014. She quickly became a lead teacher, handling classroom management and planning independently.
Certified in Strength Training and Injury Prevention by CLI Studios, Sarah's competition choreography has garnered numerous awards, including Judges Awards for Best Showmanship, Most Entertaining, Jazz Technique, and Most Confident, along with top placements and All-Star dancer selections.
