Site Specific Dance are free public performances. They occur outside of the conventional theater space, challenging dancers to become invigorated by their surroundings or mood of the environment.
This experience unites professional dancers and students.
Lecture Demonstration is an informal introduction to the art of dance, giving young dancers the opportunity to perform and educate a new audience.

In Class participants are empowered to explore movement and music in ways that are refreshing, enjoyable, stimulating and creative.
Classes are based on the dance for PD program developed by the Mark Morris Dance Group in New York. The Class is an aesthetic experience that uses the elements of narrative, imagery, music and community to develop artistry and grace while addressing such PD-specific concerns as balance, flexibility, coordination, isolation, and depression. Care partners are encouraged to participate at no charge.
This class lets the aspiring dancer find his/her creative self and bolsters self-esteem
Dance Without Limits is a way for us to reach out to another segment of the community. The class is designed for students with Down Syndrome, Autism and other developmental challenges.
This program is a great way for children with special needs to become involved in an extracurricular activity while improving motor skills, confidence, and socialization. Dance is a unique and effective way to reach students with special needs because it is nonverbal. Dance can help students gain balance between the two halves of the body, allow them to express emotion, gain muscle control and work through traumas. In dance, they interact socially through parallel interaction, which is typically less overwhelming on sensitive nervous systems. Through the use of simple patterns, sequencing, and repetition, students will learn the basics of movement, rhythm, and the fundamentals of ballet (such as the basic 5 positions), as well as reinforcing and practicing basic academic skills (letters, numbers, shapes, etc).
MONDAY 5:00 - 6:00 pm (only a $35.00 registration for the year)
